As a little girl, my parents took me to The Concord Pavillion in Concord, CA to see HWY 101 in concert live. I loved the entire show and when it was over, I looked up into my Mom's eyes and said "One day when I get to Nashville, that is the band I want to work with." She smiled and said, "You never know what the Lord has in mind for you honey." All these years later, to my delight and with much gratitude and appreciation, 2009 has blessed me with the experience and great blessing of being able to work with the wonderful talent of the band HWY 101. It has been such and honor and a blessing not only to work with these great and talented men but also to be able to call them my friends. In the picture, Jack Daniels did not work with us that particular night but, I have had the gift of working with him a few times as well on stage. Cactus also is not in this picture. I moved to Nashville like many people in regards to my career. In doing so, I was correct in the great talent the lives in Music City USA. What I did not expect was the great welcome, kindness, friendship and love that has been so greatly poured out upon me by the Great People of the Great State of Tennessee. Tennessee is the best place that I have ever lived. I love Tennessee and especially love the People of Tennessee. I pray, dream and hope each and every day that my career will take a big leap forward and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day for all of the networking it takes to make it in the Country Music Industry. But if worse comes to worse and I don't reach that Neon Rainbow, and live out that Honky Tonk Dream, I can honestly say that I have all ready won. The friends that I have been blessed with through this journey I call the music industry are priceless! These are life time friendships. People have said "What does it take to be loved by so many?" The way I see it is "I never knew that my life could be full of so much love by so many wonderful people!" God has truly blessed me and I am so humbly greatful. If this is what they call "Paying your dues" I'm am so happy to have the opportunity to do so and am having so much fun doing it and along the way, have found so much love in so many people. I thank the very Great People of Tennessee for loving me and reaching out with their hearts. Maybe that is part of the reason they call Tennessee "The Heart Land!" People here love straight from the heart. Thank you Jack, Cactus, Curtis and John for making that little girls dream come true! All my love and gratitude to The Great People of The Great State of Tennessee.
